Misty was born in San Francisco and raised in Modesto, California. As an adult, she lived in a few different states including, Arizona reservation land. She is currently a student at Fresno Pacific University where she is completing her bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry and Leadership.

Before returning to school, Misty was working in real estate and earned her Arizona and California licenses. As she gained experience in real estate, she suddenly encountered many challenges, adversity, and grief. As she began her healing journey, she took time to reflect on her experiences, goals, and personal beliefs. While she did not grow up in a highly religious environment, she developed a strong personal faith over time. As she deepened her beliefs, she found a greater sense of purpose and direction in her life.

This journey inspired her to pursue ministry, where she hopes to continue to support and uplift others through service. Misty is now a year into her intensive degree completion plan at FPU. She has consistently demonstrated discipline and a strong commitment to personal growth. I look forward to seeing her continue to thrive. Congratulations, Misty!
