"Student Stories: My Higher Education Experience" is an ongoing series of interviews of student participants in the Salt River Higher Education program.
These videos highlight the students' post-secondary education experience and to help to inspire younger generations to start their own journeys to higher education.

Video dialogue: Hi everyone. I’m Aaron Taylor Michael Wilson. I am a proud member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and I’d like to share a little bit about my higher educational journey with you.
I currently hold two degrees, both from UCLA. I have a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, a master’s degree in American Indian Studies, and I’m currently a first year law student.
The Salt River Higher Education scholarship program has been a pillar support for me throughout my educational journey. The most significant barrier in degree attainment is the costs associated with attendance, and the scholarship program has completely alleviated that barrier for me.
I’d like to thank everybody involved in the program, and I’d be more than happy to answer any questions that anybody has. Thank you very much.
