Video transcription: Hi! I’m Miranda Salazar and I graduated from the Arizona School for the Arts in downtown Phoenix, and I applied to 11 different
colleges for my undergrad. I ended up picking the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the capital of Wisconsin.
So I’m currently a double major in psychology and social
work with a certificate (which is like a minor) in integrated liberal studies
and this is what my typical day walking into a psych lecture looks like.
And here are some of my favorite places to study.
Although I was really nervous about going to school out of
state, I’ve never looked back. I made so many great friends and had so
many wonderful memories, and I really encourage you guys to apply to both in-state and out-of-state colleges.
You never know what opportunities may come your way.
